This ministry (ages 12-17) aims to create a safe environment where teens can grow in their faith, their relationships with one another, and to equip them to serve in the community as well as church.
There will be monthly gathering at the church on the second Wednesday of every month (during Family Night) from 6:30-8pm. Teens can expect to worship, dig into the Word of God, have discussion time, prayer, fun activities & games. There may even be a snack or two involved.
PCF Youth plans to host activities or events with a range of purposes from social gathers, to team building activities, to outreach events.
UPCOMING EVENTS
All youth (ages 12-17) are invited to a Youth Camp-out. Drop your youth off at PCF at 6pm on June 12th and pick them up at 2pm on June 13th. They will build relationships through fellowship, fun activities, and campfire. Dinner and Lunch will be provided, but your teen will need to bring some Breakfast foods for the morning of the 13th.
This event takes place on PCF ground. The goal is to sleep in tents (boys in their tents and girls in their own tents/separate sleeping areas). However, in the case of rain, the Gallery will be used. If your teen would like to participate in this event, we ask that you sign them up below so that we know how many people are coming and can be prepared.
Sign-Up Details:
Drop-off: PCF, 6:00 PM on June 12th
Pick-up: PCF, 2:00 PM on June 13th
Meals: Dinner and lunch will be provided. Teens should bring breakfast for June 13th.
Location: PCF grounds (tents, Gallery (inside the church in case of rain)
Registration: Sign up below to confirm attendance.
Packing List: Sleeping bag, pillow, water bottle, towel, extra clothes, deodorant, camping chair, snacks to share, breakfast foods.
Since this is an overnight event, youth will need a permission form in order to participate. Please fill out this permission form and email it to Connect@pcfchurchblandon.com BEFORE June 12th.
THIS EVENT IS CANCELED DUE TO RAIN!!
Come on out Saturday, May 9th, and drop your teen off by 9 am (20 Frederick Ave, Denver 17517-if you would like your teen to carpool, contact a youth leader!). They'll get to share the love of Jesus by helping with yard work or other small projects for folks who can't do it themselves. We'll take the youth to different spots to work alongside our leaders. Just make sure your teen wears good work clothes, brings gloves if they have them, plenty of water, and a lunch. Looking forward to seeing God work through these teens!
