We exist to worship God by calling everyday people to joyful faith in Christ and cultivating disciples who love God and love others.
MEET OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM
Pastor Steve Graybill
From the day Praise Christian Fellowship began its journey in 1988, Pastor Steve Graybill has been faithfully at the helm. Feeling the call of God to plant a church in the Reading, PA area, he and his wife, Nancy, and their children set off to follow that leading. Integrity, enthusiasm, fervent faith, and passion to see the Holy Spirit change lives has been a driving force behind our Pastor. Unconventional and a true hands-on servant...Pastor Steve is likely to be found chopping down a tree for a church member, or climbing onto the church roof to fix a leak. He never tires of seeing the beauty of creation on display or worshiping God with other believers around a blazing campfire. To him, the people of PCF are family and fellow partners in this journey of faith. Above all else, Steve loves the Lord Jesus and is dedicated to proclaiming the Word of God and the good news of Jesus Christ.

STATEMENTS OF FAITH AND PRACTICE

 1. We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired, only infallible authoritative Word of God.
 2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father , Son, and Holy Spirit.
 3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious death, in his bodily resurrection, in his ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in glory at the close of the ages.
 4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men, repentance and regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
 5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life marked by anointing and diverse gifts.
 6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; of them that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life, and of them that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal judgment.
This Statement of Faith is the unchanging foundation for all of what we believe. The following are Statements of Practice which establish doctrinal and ethical standing at PCF.

Statement of the Respect of Individuals
We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, who seek the mercy and forgiveness which is made available through Jesus Christ. [Acts 3:19-21; Rom. 10:9-10; 1 Cor. 6: 9-11] We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity while they are on this salvation journey. [Mark 12: 28-31; Luke 6: 31] Hateful and harassing behavior, words, or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be considered unacceptable and are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines or practice of PCF.
Statement on the Sanctity of Human Life
We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to value all human life. [Psalm 139]
Statement on Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality
We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complimentary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. [Gen. 1: 26-27] Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God with which that person was conceived. We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. [Gen. 2: 18-25] We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. [1 Cor. 6:18; 7:2-5 Heb. 13:4] We believe that God has commanded that there should be no intimate sexual activity outside of a marriage between a man and woman. We believe that all forms of sexual immorality (including, but not limited to, adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, and the use of pornography) are sinful and offensive to God. [Matt. 15:18-20; 1 Cor. 6: 9-10]
